‘মহাবিশ্বে আমরা কোথায়’ শীর্ষক সেমিনার

মহাবিশ্ব নিয়ে ডিআইইউ এস্ট্রোফিজিক্স সেন্টারের সেমিনার

বলছেন ডিআইইউ এস্ট্রোফিজিক্স সেন্টারের পরিচালক প্রফেসর আরিফ আহমেদ।

ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটিতে (ডিআইইউ) স্থাপিত দেশের প্রথম এস্ট্রোফিজিক্স সেন্টারে ‘মহাবিশ্বে আমরা কোথায়’ শীর্ষক সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। সেমিনারের মূল বক্তব্য উপস্থাপন করেন প্রসিদ্ধ বিজ্ঞান বক্তা আসিফ।

সেমিনারে আলোচিত হয়েছে, মানব সভ্যতার উন্নতির সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মহাকাশ বিষয়ে মানুষের চিন্তা ভাবনা ও দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির প্রসার ঘটেছে। এক লক্ষ আলোকবর্ষ ব্যাসের ছায়াপথের কেন্দ্র থেকে ২৫ হাজার আলোক বছর দূরে আমাদের এই সৌরজগৎ। যা ছায়াপথকে প্রদক্ষিণ করছে। মানুষ মহাবিশ্বের তুলনায় ক্ষুদ্রাতি ক্ষুদ্র হয়েও বিশ্বকে জানার ও বুঝার চেষ্টা করে যাচ্ছে।

সেমিনারে আরও বক্তব্য দেন কার্টুনিস্ট আহসান হাবীব। মহাকাশ বিজ্ঞানের গবেষণার ক্ষেত্র তৈরিতে অ্যাস্ট্রোনমি ও এস্ট্রোফিজিক্স ডিপার্টমেন্ট চালু করার পরিকল্পনার কথাও জানালেন প্রফেসর আরিফ আহমেদ।

প্রায় শতাধিক শিক্ষার্থী অত্যন্ত আগ্রহ নিয়ে এই সেমিনার উপভোগ করেন।

We're delighted to share that Daffodil International University has officially launched Bangladesh's FIRST Astrophysics Center!

This groundbreaking initiative, led by Arif Ahmed, Associate Professor of Multimedia and Creative Technology, has transformed into the DIU Astrophysics Center under his dedicated leadership as the Convener.

About the DIU Astrophysics Center:

Equipped with infrastructure for cutting-edge research in astrophysics and astronomy. This is an amazing opportunity for students and faculty to explore the cosmos.

Key Highlights from the Inauguration:

A presentation showcasing the journey of establishing the DIU Astrophysics Center. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the MicB and Mohabritto organizations. Witnessed by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Arif Ahmed, Ahsan Habib, Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Prof. Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayear, and more.
